City of the world

In 27 days we will be in New York. I must admit I’m a little bit nervous about visiting this city (and it’s not because I’m turning 30 while I’m there ;)). I’m sure that after we leave I will have feeling that what I’ve seen was only a foretaste of what this city can give me. “When you leave New York you ain’t going anywhere” Jimmy Breslin said..

To get myself in a NYC mood I start with a book of Magdalena Rittenhouse. I’m open for every suggestions of what more is worth reading and any tips what needs to be seen. Let’s start with study a map :)

Btw, we have our apartment in Brooklyn :)

  1. “New York Trilogy” by Paul Auster. It’s a bit too late, but maybe when the trip is over … Unless you’ve read it already :)
